Playing your favorites is what Von Ketelsen does. The singer/guitarist performs songs people enjoy hearing, in a fun, wholesome and professional manner.

Music is in Ketelsen's blood. He learned how to please audiences of all kinds early on, when he performed with his Father's band, the Johnny Ketelsen Band, of Marion. "My Dad was a great entertainer. He played all types of music -- country, swing, old-time and modern standards. Through him, I picked up the ability to tailor my performance to suit the audience." Ketelsen said.

Ketelsen plays all types of music. "I do tunes from the '60's, '70's, and some of today's hits. I can even go back to the big bad hits of the '40's, like my Dad's band used to play. I perform pop favorites from the Beatles, Eagles and John Mayer. I can also do country favorites by Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and George Strait". Ketelsen pointed out.

Ketelsen's sincerity and musicianship show in his performances. "It's all about the audience. Playing what they want to hear and making sure they're having fun, is the main thing. Whether the venue calls for a stage show, or background music for a party, I can help make the event successful." Ketelsen added.
